New Fairfield
The town of New Fairfield was incorporated in 1740 and is located on the Shore of Candlewood Lake. It is a quaint town bordering Danbury to the South, Brookfield to the Southeast, New Milford to the Northeast, Sherman to the North, and Brewster, New York to the West. New Fairfield prides itself on its excellent education system, low taxes and convenient commuter location to New York City and Westchester County. New Fairfield is the home of Squantz Pond State Park Candlewood Lake and is also a well known summer vacation community.
